WHAT:
I’m offering “pay what you can” design services to new businesses and organizations owned or run by black, indigenous, or people of color (BIPOC.) WHY:
I am where I am now due to a confluence of a number of privileges not historically afforded to people of color in this country. And while the color of my skin is not the ONLY reason for my place in society, reparations have not been made commensurate with the wrongs perpetrated against the BIPOC community, and I don’t believe they ever will be at a governmental level, at least in my lifetime, so the question became what can I do? Personally, my privilege has not translated to monetary wealth, as I’ve not made that a priority in my life. I’m broke af, but what I do have are a particular set of skills, acquired over a no doubt unhealthy amount of time behind a computer screen. So that’s what I’m offering: If you or someone you know fit the criteria outlined, get in touch with me and I’ll do my best to support your business or organization with some killer graphics, a logo, or a number of design services with a budget that YOU set based on what you can afford to spend.
